Moonrise is a brand new concept and company, established in 2021. The first location opened in January 2022 in Decatur, GA. Moonrise is a world where kids build things and learn together, built as a flexible learning space designed to nurture creativity, independent thinking, and wellness. Kids can drop in anytime from 9am-9pm, including weekends and summers. With this in mind, I wanted to design a space that felt modern and adult while still working as a space for kids. Finding that balance was the magic in creating a unique space for the brand.
Moonrise has been featured online and in several magazines including Forbes and The New York Times. As this was a true start up company, I worked on every creative and branding aspect for the company. I developed the brand identity, interior design, landscape design, creative and art direction, videography, 3D renders, commercial construction, you name it, I led the way for every single part of establishing the brand and launching the company both virtually and physically.

With powerful creative tools, furniture you can jump on, and plants everywhere, Moonrise is designed to be the best possible learning environment for kids. I selected all furniture, staged and designed each part of the interior design. To create a cohesive look and feel, I incorporated the brand palette and designed a color block stripe along the walls throughout the space.

We created a video to introduce the Guide Manager. Tracy brought a lovely warmth to the commercial and really showcases what Moonrise is all about.
Production Studio
A custom designed professional production studio. With professional grade equipment and soundproofing, the production studio is the perfect place for the children to record podcasts, music, and movies.
